Context
Piazza Martino in Bologna offers vegetarian and vegan cuisine made exclusively from products grown on their own land. These high-quality ingredients are also available for purchase with home delivery and through a network of farmers’ markets. This virtuous process required a highly recognizable image that could reflect their comprehensive agriculture and restaurant business. Thus, we developed their visual identity, from the business logo to the decoration of the restaurant spaces.

Process
By combining the characteristics of Piazza Martino (organic farming, nature, short supply chain, and the centrality of both people and farmers), we developed visual elements that convey the offerings and the approach of the people who manage it. The logo itself is a nod to Alessandro, the founder of the agricultural business.

Solution
We coordinated the entire visual communication through illustrations that narrate and bring this reality to life. We did this with the logo, signs, promotional flyers, and the walls and windows of the venue, which were all hand-painted. Additionally, by combining various elements, we depicted creative scenes on the restaurant walls: pots and vegetables transforming into urban buildings, representing how this gastronomic and farming reality has found its place in the city.
