A scribing that becomes a set design

Context
“What is our expertise and what can we still learn? And what is the best observation point to answer this question? Is it inside or outside? Near or faraway? Wandering with our imagination or keeping our feet on the ground?”. Together with TedxMarcianise 2019, we focused on our present world, telling the unknown stories and point-of-views of ten speakers coming from all over the world.

Process
After a first meeting to understand the technical side of the set up inside the Campania Shopping Mall in Marcianise, we designed a digital graphic facilitation to narrate the speeches in real time and to create, at the same time, an animated landscape onstage.

Solution
A set design illustrating to the audience the key themes of the various interventions, enriching the conceptual system developed by the speakers thanks to figurative elements, texts and their signifier relationship with the space.
