Forni e Fornai•e

Context
Forni e Fornai•e (English: Ovens and Bakers) is the Monghidoro (Bologna) bread festival, organized by Comunità Grano Alto. A weekend full of meetings, seminars on topics like organic farming, bread-making, access to food and the importance of the soil.

Process
For the 2022 edition of this initiative we redesign their logo and all the communication materials. The central element is a representative pattern of wheat’s lifecycles: the seed, the spike, the loaf. We also took care of facilitating some of the workshops and seminars that were held in different spaces over the weekend.

Solution
An impactful design that has been adapted to city billboards and online communication materials, such as the website and the Instagram page of the community. A series of visualizations that tell stories related to the territory and beyond, made on recyclable materials and using a few bales of hay as a support!
